Brazyle and Flow Machines
A Brazilian musical style database registered with François Pachet, which Daccord states was used in the Flow Machines project, from Sony CSL, for artificial intelligence in composition. Flow Machines produced the album Hello World (2018); on the album's official credits page, Cabral's name appears in the acknowledgments. Result of the Special Visiting Researcher project (CAPES, 2012–2018) that brought Pachet to CIn, coordinated by Cabral.

CESAR, Conselho de Administração · Onze anos no Conselho de Administração do CESAR, instituto privado de inovação fundado em 1996 por professores do CIn e âncora do Porto Digital: vice-presidente de 2015 a 2020, presidente de 2020 a 2026. No período da presidência: a CESAR School, a expansão internacional com o CESAR Europa (Portugal) — de que foi associado como pessoa física —, missões a Nantes, Paris, Aveiro, ao DFKI e ao Fraunhofer, e o Florescendo Talentos, lançado em 2024 com o Governo de Pernambuco, o SENAI e o SENAC para mais de 26 mil estudantes em cerca de 170 escolas estaduais. O Conselho recebeu o certificado Women on Board em 2021; em 2025 o CESAR publicou o primeiro Relatório de Impacto Socioambiental, com mensagem de abertura assinada por Cabral.

Digital games as a research instrument in psychology, from the CNPq Special Visiting Researcher project with Peter Blake, of Boston University. Slingshot Challenge and Star Mines, tested with 162 children aged 6 to 12, proved to be valid instruments for measuring cooperation (Behavior Research Methods, 2021).

Grupo de pesquisa e inovação em Música, Tecnologia, Interatividade e Criatividade, criado e coordenado com Geber Ramalho e Filipe Calegário: criatividade computacional e prototipagem de instrumentos digitais. Do grupo saíram Sketchument e Illusio (2013), Batebit (2015), o toolkit com McGill e Inria (IEEE MultiMedia, 2017), trabalho mais citado do currículo, e o TumTá e a Pisada, do doutorado de João Tragtenberg (melhor artigo do 17º SBCM, 2019). Na apresentação do grupo no 17º SBCM (2019), o saldo desde 2010: 4 doutorados, 16 mestrados, mais de 30 graduandos, 4 startups e mais de 50 produtos. Em 2021, com a Moises.ai, o Chord Detection Challenge reuniu 17 equipes de quatro universidades federais.

Games unit of D'Accord Music Software, at Porto Digital; 28 people in May 2010. Drums Challenge (App Store, June 2009) closed the month among the five best-selling music games in the United States and led the category on iPad in 2010. Catalog on iPhone, iPad, Android, Nokia, and PlayStation Minis, and games commissioned by Coca-Cola, Mattel, and Rock in Rio.

Porto Digital: Technology Residency and Digital Onboarding · Pedagogical coordinator of the Technology Residency, redesigned in 2019 into cycles closed by a demo day, with student squads tackling challenges proposed by companies and market mentors; in the first cohort, employability reached nearly 100%. In 2020 the model became public policy with Digital Onboarding (Embarque Digital), scholarships from the Recife City Hall for graduates of public schools: 3,043 entrants and 1,130 graduates by 2026. In the second half of 2025, more than 40 companies and more than 70 mentorships for about 3,700 students in Recife, Aracaju, and Brasília.

Undergraduate and graduate courses in multimedia, criatividade computacional, games, computação musical, product design, and AI-driven prospecting; with Filipe Calegário, Criatividade Computacional (2020–2023), which the CIn portal describes as the first course in the country on the subject. Principal advisor of two doctoral dissertations and 14 master's theses; graduation patron for one class and honored professor for six others, between 2017 and 2025.

Music education platform for the early grades, with games and an animated series, made at Daccord — the unit that in 2014 became Escribo — for schools without a licensed music teacher: 25 games, with Cecília Cavalieri França. Already used in 2012 in schools in Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo; together with Saiba+ Enem, it won the Northeast stage of the 2012 Finep Innovation Award, and was a finalist for the 2015 Jabuti Award (Livro Infantil Digital). In 2014, the book Nós da Educação — Música (Ática).

Softex National Young Entrepreneur Contest (2005), Santander Entrepreneurship Award with iChords (2006), and Finep Innovation Award (Northeast stage) in 2009 and 2012; in 2011, Cabral placed 2nd in INFO magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year award. From it came MusiGames Studio and the venture that became Escribo.
