A course in the Information Systems program at CIn/UFPE, taught by Giordano Cabral in one cohort, in 2015.2. Each team created a fictitious company — purpose, mission, vision, values, org chart —, defined the product to build, and managed its own work throughout the semester using management tools used in industry. The evaluation focused on the management itself, as stated in a notice to the class on October 28, 2015: "you are being evaluated on the quality of that management, not on the quality of the final product."

Every Wednesday, each group reports three figures in class using its chosen tool — Trello, Podio, Redmine, Jira, Basecamp: the planned backlog for the week, how much was completed, and each member's time commitment. They keep weekly records for a joint analysis of the burndown charts in November. The semester ends with paper wireframes, status reports, an analyzed backlog, a final report with a post-mortem, and a 360-degree evaluation.

• TecEduk — computerized processes for the Brazilian education network; a matrix structure with five named roles and a spreadsheet for tracking team performance.
• WhatzUp — a tool for tracking the development of startups.
• QS — Quality Software — technology solutions, functional structure; an overall 360-degree team evaluation.
• Rise and Grind and SeMotivando — educational companies focused on personal development.
• mei-a-MEI — final report dated December 16, 2015. Team: Micael Souza, Julio Toscano, Ayrton Jonathan Alves G. de França, Emmerson Oseildo, Julio Alexandre Pedrosa de Melo.
• BlackRainbow — Representative-Company — order system for sales representatives; delivered with analyzed backlog, final status report, structured post-mortem, and 360 evaluation.
