Summary:
The minimal content of every report about statistical results obtained by stochastic simulation are suggested. A manner to present these results is shown. This is applied to a Monte Carlo experience designed to compare estimation procedures of the parameter of a Rayleigh distribution, a problem often encountered in synthetic aperture radar image processing.
Key Words: estimation, Monte Carlo methods, robustness, SAR image processing, stochastic simulation.
