The WebSteer Project Home-Page

Welcome !

WebSteer is an open framework to support highly interactive training and documentation over the Web, based upon a laboratory metaphor. The framework is composed by a SlideProjector and a Workbench that freely moves through the Web. This laboratory allows the user to select and follow anyone of the instructional modules made available by providers. Each module is composed by a set of HTML pages, a set of scripts, and a set of Java applets, that we call WebSteer's instruments.

Under guidance of WebSteer's Core Controller (actually a Java Applet) you may surf through the available cousewares that we have provided and see how this model can enhance the interactiveness of the Web.
