These are separate scopes, not alternative or dual licenses for the same
software. CC BY 4.0 is not offered as a software-license option. Source code,
markup, styling and executable figure/icon definitions remain in the
software scope; separately protected original expressive content is in the
content scope. The standard license texts are reproduced without changes.
No additional visible-footer, commercial-use or adaptation condition is added.

Excluded material and preserved terms
- All third-party or jointly owned material and all separately licensed components.
- Scientific papers and reproduced/adapted paper figures, including coauthored articles.
- All datasets, dataset copies and embedded records, source metadata and derived databases.
- Mathematical facts, algorithms as ideas, numerical/point data and geometric outputs
  that are not protected by copyright: these notices impose no new restrictions on them.
- Fonts, font-derived outlines, institutional marks, logos and third-party icons.
- Existing third-party license/attribution files and vendor components.
- Historic Point Location code/material: MIT delaunay.js (Castro/Devillers 2010),
  MIT pointlocation.js (INRIA, Castro/Devillers 2010), and GPL pointsetgen.js
  (Castro/Devillers 2010, version unspecified). Those grants remain unchanged.
- Prior permissions remain valid; no license condition is added by this scope note.
- vendor/three/* (including modified line imports) remains MIT; assets/fonts/*
  retains OFL/GUST-LPPL terms; assets/institution/* and the original monogram
  are excluded. Numerical fixture and preset records are not relicensed.
