The Networking and Telecommunications Research Group (GPRT - Grupo de Pesquisa em Redes e Telecomunicações) is part of the CIn/UFPE (Computer Science Center of the Federal University of Pernambuco at Recife, Brazil) and was created to investigate advanced topics in computer networks and telecommunications. The group is headed by Professors Dr. Paulo Roberto Freire Cunha e Dr. Djamel Sadok and funded by both the government (through Brazilian funding agencies) and private companies. Research projects are being carried out in cooperation with industrial companies, service companies and also research organizations, in Brazil and overseas.
