Overview Top of page

Design comps give examples of what the basic screens will look like for a web site. They are not exact representations and only exist as graphic images (no HTML). These may also not represent every screen in the system, but are a representative group that give a picture of the overall look and feel of the site.

Screen 1 : Login to Paging Service Top of page

Figure -1 – Log on to paging service screen

This diagram of the login screen shows the general layout of the WebNewsOnLine Sports Paging Service web page. The user is presented with the fields for username and password. If they are not currently subscribers, a paragraph explains the features of the Paging Service. Along with the button to login to the service, a button is provided to subscribe for those who aren’t currently members. Links on the left side of the screen indicate the options available for sports paging. Advertisements on the top, bottom and left are customized for the paging service subscriber once they have logged in.

Screen 2 : Subscriber’s Paging Homepage Top of page

Figure -1 - Subscriber's home page

Screen #2 is the first page the subscriber sees when they log into the service. It indicates the date and time for the current page. The news article headlines are listed along with a link to the full article text. Scores are listed with links to the full article coverage for the game. On the bottom of the page, there is a list with the recent dates and times for pages sent. Subscribers can click to view the past news headlines and scores signaled by pages. Another link takes the viewer to a list of all of their pages.

Other Screens Top of page

There will be several other screens that comprise the Sports Paging Service. Most of the content for the news articles and game summaries will link to existing content on the WebNewsOnLine web site. Another screen will allow the subscriber to edit their preferences, choosing the sports teams and athletes they of interest.
